mechanic/shop recommendations?

i came across a thread about tuning shops listed, but are there any threads with mechanics that other members would recommend?

Here's a quick run down just to name a few...

Turbos
Injection
Full Exhaust
(Up/down pipes too)
Suspension (basic to coilovers)
Brakes

Of course scheduled maintenance services too... 30K, 60K

 

Maybe the OP can explain what he means by "tuning" a bit more.

When I think of a Tuning Shop, I think of R.S. Motors.
When I think of an install shop, i think of Daves garage
When I think of Tuners, I think of Bullwinkle Tunes

 

depends on what you need done. Dave's Garage, RS Motors, David Wray Auto, Graham Evans Motors are all good places that know subarus

No, I read it correctly.
Im not aware of an R.S. thread other than whats under the shops tab. Which is why I pointed him there.
Then I was wondering what he meant by tuner shops. and why I explained above what i think of when I hear these words. After this I was waiting for the OP's response. And then, AND ONLY then, I would have directed him to a thread.
