POWER STEERING FLUSH! guys I just had mine done by a local rep trying to sell me a machine... Well my car has approx 46k on it and the fluid was almost black... Unfortunately this is one of the 3 main fluids under your hood, and it is the one that gets left out.... Most Manufacturers recommend the service every 2yrs or 30K... So for the subaru club I will be working out a deal shortly and will post up a price for club members including the club discount... let me know if interested... so I know if it is a value to you... think of it like this - P.S pump and rack = $1600+ P/S Flush every 30k = $110 approx hmmm 16 flushes means 32 yrs of service before the cost of a rack and pump..... PRICE!! Ok fellas.... we worked out a price... normally it would be $111.11 with taxes But for MNSUBARU club members we could do it for $89.51 with taxes etc thats even better than a 10% discount.... MAINTENANCE SERVICES also we will extend a 20% Discount on maintenance services through the store... (compared to usual 10%) UPDATE FROM ANOTHER POST BELOW: Group Deal 1: 5 people.... on same day $70 Group Deal 2: 10 people on same day $60 this is a $95 dollar service normal pricing... we sell anywhere from 5-15 a week.... so it is a great Deal... we can work out a day for this to happen for the group buy if people are interested.... and it can be ANY vehicle not just subaru... so Parents, Friends etc... get 10 people there on the same day we will do it for $60
hehe, i would think about doing this but my PS pump had a stroke, and now it has a wicked wobble to it. so uhh i think its new pump time for me lol, or just dro it and gain 5 hp, and get a workout.
hm........i may need this as well. let me fix up my rear suspension that i broked during the snow days first.
A REAL quote would be nice, Nathan. Most of us can't do a PS flush ourselves nor do we have the equipment to, so I believe there'll be a good amount of interest. If not all at once, then possibly a good flow of Subies as time goes by.
after 2 motor swaps this summer, both with Power Steering, a good flush would probably be a good idea!

Wow, very good deal. Wish I was down in the cities. My power steering pump HATES me with these wide tires.
when I have at least 5 guys ready we can set a day that works... 10 people makes it cheaper.... I am open to any afternoon after hours except wednesdays....

um... yes.... its a $100 service.... $60 with 6 or more at teh same day the fluid on this service usually runs around the $45-$50 on our normal shop ticket.... not including labor, tax etc etc
so we have the first 5 suckers... er people... will wait another week to see who else would be interested.. then set a date or evening that would work!!!
hmmm.... it would only take that long with you Ray if you forget the honey and vaseline.. (would have to take it slow) actually the service will take about 15-20mins per vehicle.... so we are onto our 6th person.... will give it till next saturday (22nd July) to see who else commits then we can work out an evening that suits most everyone....
Depending on what the date is I do want to do this... I am buys everyday this week and friday I go up north for 2 weeks for the wedding. But I do want to par take in this. Let me know what we can work out nathan...
Until I get my car back to norm, I can't do much. Plus it would have to be a Friday for me....That is my only day off, and Sunday is my Vasoline day with my wife :banana: I'll be glad to sign up but I can't do it until august-mid!?! Any Saturday between 2pm and 3pm should work for me. I've got classes at 4pm so I have to leave by 3.
i want to do this but if its after 6 its cool but i dont know exactly when i get off every. it varies everyday, but just pick out a day and i'll try to make it.
