Bought the game 1 week ago, paid $60 for it at Best Buy. Not my style of game, just cant get into it. $45
Never played any of the older ones and I think thats the problem. Or the 8 hours of cut scene's :ugh:
yeah, that's MGS for ya, but as kevin mentioned if you've played the others it will make sense....all the games together make kinda a big story. i personally love that series.
Yeah, I'm not sure i'll get MGS4. I realized that I didn't really care about halfway through 3. (though this point almost came sooner, in 2, when WITHOUT WARNING Snake is taken hostage or dies or whatever, and your playable character changes to a pansy, lesser character) Also, the story is SLOW as all hell. I am sure if I get it one day, it will be long, long after it's been out, and it will be used, and discounted immensely. Though I must admit, 2 is funny for when you're inching across the back of the meeting room on the ship, and all of the navy dudes are hanging out watching the presentation, and if you move in front of the projector, they ALL turn around at once and the ! appears over their heads.
Someone pick this game up, I'd give it a 9.0 outta 10 easily, superb graphics, story, gameplay, and replay value. The MGS series never fails to deliver and it's a steal at $45.
