    was looking around at mazdas for other ideas.. ie 3rd gens available or earlier like the R100... or RX2 coupe... me want too many projects.. ha ha

    If that car was finished that thing would be bad ass. **** that car only weighs like 2300lbs.

    2300 maybe with a really fat driver, lol.

    I think that the curb weight is just over 2k.

    A decent small block won't add that much weight, especially if you go with one of the newer LS aluminum block motors. I want to see someone shoehorn an LS7 into a Miata.

    there was a big v8 in a saturn sky at last years car craft. that was pretty sweet for sure
