yeah, this. It's not pretty and I'd be interested in seeing the exhaust manifold in greater detail, but it looks like it would be functional. Exhaust manifold to turbo, turbo to intercoler, intercooler to intake manifold, turbo to exhaust... it's all there.
OK, good, I'm glad someone else is seeing what I'm seeing in there. I was starting to think my eyesight was suddenly going to ****. What I saw was a fully functional DIY build. And you see how I used the word "build"? That word gets thrown around all to often by some of you with regards to bolting on a few exhaust parts, a new turbo and a boost solenoid. What I see here is garage DIY motorsports enthusiasts. Granted, their taste in "music" is awful, and they were a bit too "bro" for my taste in friends. But they are doing what you should all strive for...do it yourself car modding. If you have ever worked on your own damn car, you'd probably look at that video and go "that's awesome, nice work."
Air goes in. Magic happens. Power comes out. Much like you, lee. Except in your case its... everyone goes in. Magic happens. Power-bottom.
I stopped after the running video and figured between everything else that they left it not hooked up and just made polished intake piping. Also wasn't thinking about a z32 maf running boost through it so I just stopped thinking.. My bad, still made my night last night though
**** happens.. I wasn't alone when I saw the bid and we both saw/thought the same thing.. Midnight madness I guess on my end.. Now that that's explained... Anyone able to explain 4 days 58 hours? Lol
The most hilarious thing in this thread is that you kept telling people that didn't see the problem to keep watching the video, when you obviously didn't watch the whole thing. Do you need a commercial drivers license to haul that much fail into this thread?
No, that's entirely too small. A Forester wouldn't even cover the opening post of this thread. And you are responsible for the resulting replies here...I'd definitely recommend you bring at least an F350 diesel, with an extended cab...you'll likely need that covered space in the extended cab for blackozone. As he's kindof a lady boy, and if it rains, it would wash off his lip glitter.
Like i told you before, you just find the biggest one possible then stuff some pipes and plugs into bungholes and outlets until you get the desired result.
those were some nasty ass welds lol his exhaust is going to fall apart, not to mention the 2" downpipe... cause thats not a restriction a a gt35.. he could have used a td04 and got same results..
Those were welds? I thought it was silly putty. Nice looking SVX though and aside from the welds, nice looking build too. MIDNIGHTMADNESSOMG!
i think i spent like 4 grand in the 3 months i owned it and it was drivable, but it was still a blast to drive
