Probly not one that comes to mind when you think shelby but... This is the only pic that i could find of the car I might buy. Just as a beater. Its a 1984 Shelby Charger 5 speed with 130,000 miles for $150. The last person who had it registered used the car as a drug car till he got caught. Then one guy bought it and it stayed in his field for awhile and then my friend bought it and now i might buy it. I will post up some pics of the car when i get them. I just want a car that i can work on and try some new things with. So what do you think. Evan
Yup. I totally agree about the Onmi. I realize that you won't be buying one, but I still feel that I need to give props to the greatest sleeper known to man. I'm just glad to see that I'm not the only one who knows about and appreciates it.
That's the Omni with the supercharger in it, right? Those are serious vehicles. If they made a version with AWD it would almost be our Delta. Those Shelbys you pictures are kinda rare but I'd look for a CTX before I bought one of those Daytona clones. The problem with that car is that it is trying to look like a fast car, and perhaps could be with a LOT of work done to it, but the CTX is more of a sleeper and parts are a little easier to come by. Still might be worth it for the price though. Would be a neat project car to have around.
at the ice races on lake gervias. they had one there all pimped out for ice racing. that thing was a beast. (didnt work so well when it got covered in water, but it still worked)
