Wow!!, that exhaust gets really reeally really fiery hot!! Do it man, rotary is cool but too bad they have short life-span .
very mis-informed and misguided theory... like any engine.. if it isnt built well and treated bad.. it fails.... my last rotary engine was over 7 yrs old, pushing 200 whp daily, and it regularly beat up on 350 chevs, 3rd gen rx7's and was still running high 12s in street trim... oh and also my friend who owned it and built it, would race on teh highway and when finished would pull up, open the hood and light a cigarette off of the glowing red turbo... the guy who built the engine helped build the BP Visco engines that won consecutive 24hr races...
rotary- only knocks one time and its broken. period. pretty awesome idea, but there are many reasons they didnt replace piston engines.... is that 1200cc? 1600 crank horse from a 1.2 thats nuts! it will need a rebuild before it will need an oil change! lol
its a four rotor I believe it said in the title... so would be at least a 2.6l so in reality a 5.2 liter
WANKLE!!!!! i loooove the NA 20b with ITB's. how did they get the center rotor shaft made for this engine? that had to cost a buttload cuz i dont think they made a production 4 rotor other than the 787b racecar motor. and that car looks like a bitch to get started. Full throttle while turning the ignition. do it if you can build it. COUGH COUGH* MNDAYTIME..... finish your FD3s monster! get those injectors. ill pay you your money real soon here so i hope it goes into getting that 35R powered beast on the street!
