Milwaukee Getting Hamered

I am sitting at work in Downtown Milwaukee, visibility down to 1/8 mile 12" of snow and counting. Thank God I have my Subie. Thinking about heading over to Miller Park to make Subie art in the parking lot.

I am kind of jealous.

 

Its only 5 hours away.

milwaukee....what a dump of a town

only 2 good things there
- its close proximity to chicago
- a few good places to eat :
Rochester Deli in downtown Waukesha(best pastrami sandwich ever. Chef's retired from NY and moved there)
Brisco County - best steak for the money - NY strip is my fave.
Bacchhus, Mr. B's, Bartollottas steak house (all part of same parent company) $$$$$$
Golden mast, seven seas, wiesgerbers....good german food (cant find a decent one here in TC) $$$$$
Balisstieris $$$$
a pizza place in brookfield...on BLuemound rd. cant remember the name
finally V. Richards in Brookfield - hands down the best bakery ever!!!!! cheap and good selection of cheescake filled rings and cakes and brownies. no wonder WI folks are fat !!!

Yeah, we need one more good snowstorm here before I'll be satisfied with this winter. Hasn't been bad so far, but not enough snow lately...

Milwaukee, to me was dangerous. Last fall, went there for a Family Funeral in the weekends and there were 3 drive by shootings on the same neighberhood. Freaken unreal. Good thing didn't hit my Subie.
