Mn Subaru fishing/camping trip??

I was wondering if there would be any interest to make a fishing/camping trip. You guys could stay at our place for cheap and I could try to talk my Parents into letting us use some boats.You would have to bring your own tents since all the cabins are booked for the summer. let me know if anyone is interested and a time they would like to do it.

the lake is around 12,000 acres. 52 islands. around 9 miles long and 6 miles wide, yes no hedinism you can just about do whatever you want as long as you dont bother the people too much

 

I would be in depending on when it is, my weekends are filling up fast due to my wedding on 7-29

you can catch most species, lots of northern, bass, bluegills, crappie,some walleye. most any weekend would be ok with me. pick a date

 

You okay with jet ski's? I would be game for this.. Have a tent, I need to break in the the future wife... hehehe

 

yes jetskis are ok as long as your not going back and forth infront of the resort

 

any resorts you don't like, I can go bug the hell out of them... hehehehe

This a cool idea, My work schedule is kind of funny, and the wife is pregnant, so I'm not totally sure is she's up to camping. I have my own boat I could bring. I think the 16-17 are good dates for me (though I'd have to talk to the wife to know for sure), might be a little short notice for people to actually show up, and maybe not.

The real question is are we going for rides in your car, Rich?

How about July 8th and 9th. Both of our cars will be done by then and I'm more than willing to drive up there and party... I have to get a fishing license though . On another note, Rich, how is the hiking in the area? And good trails that follow the lake or up in some cool hills? Thanks for offering all this, it's going to be fun

 

There are some nice hikeing trails about a half hour from here, July 8th and 9th would work out the best. its far enough in advance that the people who wana go could get the time off

That next weekend is shooting star rally. I have to go to shooting star, it's always a blast

 

Anytime before July 29th is out for me... anythign after would probably work...
