It's that time again! I'm gonna work a half day to come home and watch the boys play their first real game tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the preseason wasn't a sign of things to come this year:ugh: I'm still not ready to become a season ticket holder but I did buy a good amount of games(15) mostly from Russ again. Any thoughts or predictions for the season?
Saw Russ and Chris at the opener. Think my next game is the 30th but there is a game on tonight, so I'll probably be there via my couch. Lets hope for some more power plays as they seemed to work well in the last game(4 goals).

I hope we are not in for a long season. But with the way Backstrom is playing we might be in for one. Only game I have lined up is November 20th against the Rangers. Other than that I will be keeping up with the games from the couch.
Not much to talk about so far this season but a reminder to anyone going tomorrow that they're doing the food drive thing so load up a bag of goodies on the way out. Anyone going along with the wild and their movember efforts? I'm trying but the reality is I'm not exactly "gifted" when it come to the whole facial hair thing.
I'm rockin a foo-man-chu, the wife is strongly against me going with the mustache. I find it funny that they are handing out Marion Gaborik bobble heads at the game on Sat. I wonder how many of those bad boys will end up on the ice.
Me and my whispy caterpillar stache are actually excited to see how the crowd reacts saturday. I still have fun at every game I'm sure this one won't dissapoint.
They are always a good time. The last game I went to I walked out the door with Ron Gardenhire and talked with him all the way to the parking ramp. Pretty cool.
tonight should make for a good game too, hopefully the back to back nights wont kick our butts too bad.
Well that sucked. Most exciting part was watching people get hit with a beach ball during the 2nd intermission. We 2 Gaborik bobbleheads tonight if someone has an extra of any of the earlier ones you wanna trade for one of mine.
That was really hard to watch. The worst part of it was I ordered the UFC fight and DVR'd the Wild game. After paying $60.00 to watch several crap fights, I got to watch a crap hockey game.
Anybody else hang around for the movember record thingy? Maybe with a few more wins like this the crowd will get back into it a bit more.

Missed out on tonights bobblehead(stupid traffic) but we did win a couple auctions for signed ornaments made by the players wives/girlfriends. We got one from Darby and his wife and one from the Brunettes. these are kinda cool unique items that help out the wild foundation.
Things are shaping up for the boys! It's nice to see them back in playoff contention, now hopefully the can stay there and maybe even move up a few spots.

Great Games this weekend. Glad to see them playing up to their potential. I really hope we make the playoff's!!!
Indeed! At least they'll be playing playoff type hockey trying to get in. Saw Russ n Chris about a hundred times at the Aeros game sunday. The game had a few moments but, now I know what the fans with half full arenas feel like.....boring.

I was at the game last Friday night when we played the Ducks. Matt Cullens short handed goal sent the X rocking, I've never heard the X that amped before. Wild fans need playoff's!!!!
Another PMB spin-o-rama, gotta love that! The fans are clearly ready to show some crazy support for a playoff run. I've noticed when things get going lately the crowd has been letting loose a bit more.
I was having fun last night until I managed to catch a puck to the chin in the middle of the 3rd. Ouch!
If anyones thinking about going to a game in the next month I've got 5-6 vouchers for buy one get on Lower level/club level regular season tickets. I don't plan on using them but don't want them to go to waste if someone else can use them. *must redeem at xcel energy center box office.

When it went 1-0 we knew enough to toss in a movie. Movie ended with couple minutes left so yeeahhh....crap. Looks like they gave up three goals in a minute and a half???????
