    You will be required to fill out a simple club application form. They will be available at the meetings or online.

    Cost & payment
    You may pay for club memberships at either of these meetings, the cost is $12.

    Online membership will be done via paypal. The cost will be $12 to cover paypal fees and mailing the membership card. For online payment we will only mail the card so if you want to get the card in person please come to one of the meetings.

    Being a member of the club gets you a couple things.

    1) As a club member, you gain voting rights for the club elected officials.
    2) As a club member, you gain access to the local Subaru dealership discounts (this switchover is in progress)
    3) As a club member, you will get a discount on the club sponsored events.

    Obviously, with the club just starting up, the second two benefits are works in progress.



    Don't forget the discount at local Parts Plus locations.
    5-15% off depending on markup. This discount is available as soon as you have a card.

    Q: I dont know if this has already been covered. What about a situtation where I want to buy multiple cards for family members who are not on the board, are they required to have screen name in order to benefit from this card?

    BTW: They look great, thnx to everyone involved for their time and patience. Kudo'z!

    Yeah, it's the same price for each membership and it is tied to the forum username, so they would need an account.

    But, this is a valid question and it has been brought up by others, so I think it will be something that is revisited in the future.

    I try to be out at firestone, but I have a bunch of "home" things that I am trying to get done. I am going to try and make it out there tomorrow, and I am hoping that another mod or 2 will also get some stickers/cards so I am not the only one that has them.

    I got my cards a couple of weeks ago. They look good.
    My only question is the application. For some reason when I try to open the link I get all these crazy @#$*&^D things?? Why cant I read it and how do I fix it so I can get this part done? Thanks and sorry If this is a dumb question.

    Make sure you have a working PDF reader installed. Adobe Reader is the most common.

    Maybe it me and maybe its my computer but i can't seem to send the membership form thingy. When I paypal all the info is on that page. would that be good enough?

    So I got the adobe reader installed on my computer!! :) Hurray for me. But I cant get the thing to send. So I printed the form off and was wondering if I could just send them in the mail! Maybe somebody could give me the mailing info via pm. That would be much appreciated! I just want to get this stuff sent in so I don't have to keep thinking about it since I already paid my membership fee. Thanks!!!

    So I think I have almost everyone updated. I have 2 payments from people that did not send in a app or put their screen name in with the payment. They are Larry B. and Harlow F. Please let me know who you are and I will get you added to the MNSOC forum.

    Also, if you send in a paypal for your member card, please add your screen name in the notes section, and I will mail your card to you.

    Not if you use either one of the links. You would need to send a seperate paypal and include in the notes that it will be for a set of stickers, a member card, and your screen name.

    seriously, that's a great question, if i understand you correctly.:biggrin:
    It would be cool to give all vendors some sort of perk. it makes sense. i'll ask the task force people.

    So I've paid for my card and am waiting for it to arrive. When it shows up in the mail will I magically be given a key to this mnsoc forum? Or is this something when I log in I should see?....something else:dunno:
