MNSOC is announcing it's first annual member appreciation BBQ. The event will be hosted by the MNSOC officers group, and will be located at the Battle Creek Pavilion. We've tried to pick a central location. Battle Creek Park is located right off of 94 in Saint Paul. Click here for driving directions. The pavilion has parking for 250+ cars, a few large grills for food, and even a full kitchen. Event Schedule: 11:00 AM - Event opens, member registration and food prep begins 12:00 PM - Food serving begins (hot dogs, burgers, chips, cookies, water/pop) 1:00 PM - Official "state of the club" address by the club President (Jason - Readymix) 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Park activities (beanbag, softball, kickball, football, etc) 7:00 PM - Event Ends The afternoon will be semi-loose, but we will continue to provide food all afternoon for those who can't arrive until later, so feel free to come at any time. I'm there! **edit** A quick glance at the calander shows me that thats mothers day. I'm probably not going to be able to attend.
Sweet... I should be able to make it. One question: If I were to bring 2 guests, would they also need to purchase MNSOC membership cards to eat? Somehow I just don't think Chloe is very interested in Subaru's just yet.
also fishing opener day before but since I'll be racing Saturday, I may go Sunday morning and come later
Ok, we're going to have a $5 for guest policy, and kids under 10 and mothers eat free, so bring the fam and enjoy the (hopefully) nice weather!
oh I put it on my calendar so the wife knows... but, I am sure we may have family stuff with her mum maybe.. who knows...
...and why not?! you can't protect her from us forever you know... i'll be there, let me know if you need any help!
Haha, thankfully she is still virgin to 2g1c or blink-182 fanfare. If I get my way she won't be on the internet until she's 15.
I'm not working this day and this is not 3 miles from my house. I should be able to sneak out for a bit to make this.
Not really centrally located, like you said, but I'll definitely make it! You need more smurfs to reply to this thread.
thats my last day in mn before i ship off to basic training, i leave at 8pm that night, so i may have to try and make it out
I think I can make it, I will bring my mom lol...not really but I will be nice and at least asked her...
wish i could come....should be with da mom. Ill most likely be at Bill's Gun Range the day B4. Might try and make it out.
^^^ sorry Chet, but I wouldnt blame him. I think I'd rather hang out with my family rather than seeing Chet Balls before I go. lol Anyway, I'm probably going to make it. atleast for a little bit. I have to go hang with the future Mother-in-law if i know whats good for me.
YOU should go into the military...it would be good for you! And you woouldn't have to worry about a job either:biggrin:
peeps, please take a moment and post your thoughts in this thread http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32281
Can new people sign up to be members at the event? I'm not sure I could make it being mothers day, but maybe later in the afternoon.
