MNSOC Spring Member Appreciation BBQ & LAX Cruise Announcement Minnesota Subie Owners Club would like to show our appreciation to all our members by throwing a Spring & Summer kick-off BBQ on Sunday May 10th at Battle Creek Park Pavilion in St. Paul. LAX Cruise 2009 This year’s cruise and event will be held on Sunday June 21st in La Crosse, WI. Within a few days we will announce the details of each event. So plan ahead, make arrangements, and do whatever you have to do to attend these events. It’s going to be a great time!!!!
Lax cruise date We're very sorry we couldn't secure Saturday June 6th as so many of us wanted. By the time we attempted to reserve the location it was already taken by another party. However, the MNSOC officers and party organizers will still make this one hella fun day!
I'll be there! If anyone wants to camp, let me know, I'll start looking and reserve a couple of spots.
Thanks for making it a sunday, i know there are alot of people that wanted saturday, but for the ones who wanted sunday, you really helped us out. ill be there this year.
Hehe, well we tried to get the LAX cruise on a Saturday, but it got stolen right from out under us . Hope it still works for most people, though, as it's a hella fun event.
Well that sucks I was hoping for the 6th ... Also this takes at least 4-6 fun people out of the equation
So bring your mother to the refined BBQ and show her what nice people you hang out with. And bring your father on the cruise and show him how nice your car handles. Its a win win!!!

Not to be a **** about it, but you can talk as soon as you start spending dozens of hours of your personal time on getting this club off the ground. These dates weren't our first choices, but you deal with what you get..
We do apologize if this causes any inconveniences. However, the 21st was the only other option unless we wanted to wait until deep into July. I'm sure after 20+ fathers days most parents would understand if one were to stop by with a gift and/or took them out to dinner the day before.
Or bring 'em on a Fathers day Subaru cruise . If my pops was in town, I'd have him in on this in a heartbeat.
I appreciate it trust me Nate, I guess it just sucks that there are some that can't go now because of the date change. We could have pushed it back and done another poll. And by no means am I trying to say I would do it better, I however would like to be more of a part in the MNSOC stuff.
There are always going to be scheduling conflicts. Hope to see a bunch of new members at these events!

you win some you lose some... people dont have to make every event to be cool... Heck you drive a subaru.. you have to work a lot harder then that to be cool

Yeah, I'll be out again this year but really enjoyed it the last time. We're moving at the end of the month and will be showcasing our new house to both sets of parents with a Father's day BBQ. Wish I could make it, but oh well.
pshhhh... the wifey can take care of entertaining family. As a 2 Subaru family, you are obligated to bring at least one.
so the bbq is mothers day, the cruise is fathers day... which one of you officers dont like your parents? lol I will try and make them both, but no promises.
Now thats a Chicago beer. (sorry, horrible old style commercial they play in Chicago) Anyway, I'll be there at about noon now. I have to go to church with the future mother-in-law and then I can leave. Still I can't stay long because I also have to visit the future step-mother-in-law too.
