MNSubaru calendar

I noticed that legacyGT.com has there own calendar and thought it would be a great idea to do the same for MNsubaru.

Maybe submit your best car photo and we vote. The 12 best get into the calendar for 2007.

I believe the cost would be around 17 per calendar.

What do you guys think? I can coordinate it if needed.

SEND ME YOUR BEST SUBIE PHOTO. I'LL COLLECT THEM AND POST ALL COLLECTED PHOTOS ON DECEMBER 1ST FOR THE GROUP TO VOTE. send them to [email protected]

We need some winter shots for at least December thru February.


UPDATE: 11/16
Resolution: It will help if the photos are high resolution and at 200dpi or higher. I'm working on the sizing, but I believe we'll end up with photos at 11x11. When in doubt just submit them or PM me.

Photo types: Many suggestions here. All photos you feel are good enough please submit them. Group, solo, etc...Everyone will vote for the top few that make the calendar.

Background/setting: We need to cover the fall, winter, spring, and summer months so dig deep to find those great photos.

Submitting photos: When you email them over please include your screen name in the email.

Volume: More the better. I've only seen a few so far so keep them coming.

This was done on Subaruforester.org as well but sorry I don't have any nice pictures of my car. If it turns out good, I'd surely buy a calendar.

Another suggestion is to have company pay to have there info there. It would make the cost of making it a bit less. So instead of $17 ea. Let's see if we could get it down to $10ea. IMO

Its kinda short notice but it would be neat to get a group photo for one of the shots.:dunno:

 

I know we have pics... and I remember seeing pictures from our MNSubaru meet at Brooklyn Park Subaru this past summer.

 

I think we should all try to get together on a Friday early like 6pm before it gets dark(Firestone) and get a group pic...People with there MNsubaru T-shirt...If I can find mine...It's boxed up somewhere...

I've got a bunch of snow pics from last winter. and if we get some snow here before too long, I'll take some more.

Include one group photo for one of the months...and try to avoid "solo" pics of cars and there could be a little something for everbody in this.

 

The MR2 ruined that pic! hehe

And I think silver is right, mnsubaru is about getting together and having fun. solo pics may not reflect that very well. I know vic and many others have a huge stock of pics from events.

 

I maybe an IT nerd but I'm also a photographer at heart hahaha

I have connection to a photo studio garage in Mpls, if you guys are serious about doing this. I can get details and we can go from there. Unless you only want out door shots then we can just pick location and do a drive and shoot... wait that didn't come out right.

I have access to models also, through mutual friends

Vic, you da pimp! If you can pull this off, I think you'll have a lot more respect than what every thinks of you right now.

 

I think there should be some group stuff and some solo shots. The people who are going to buy it already know what the club is about.

Another idea I came up with today is, on the page with the picture weather a group shot or solo we should put at lease the screen name if not the owners real name, year make model of the car and when and where the picture was taken.

 

I just care to see the models...I'll just buy the calendar for that hehe

I'd love to be in more group things, but I'm just too far away, and too poor to drive down all the time for meets.....total drag...

anyway, I'm looking for a few more pics. mostly of my blue wagon...since this was it's last year with me....
