There was a thread about this early last year with a bit of interest and some random talk but never any follow through. This year, however, its happening! Blackozone and I will be heading up this new contest to hopefully bring back some more Local Car Porn to the masses. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask or message either one of us. We look forward to participation from as many members as possible in both entering and the voting. Rules -Recent photos (within the last year) Trusting members to be honest -Open to anyone on the boards -Photos must be in hosted format and embedded in your post -No more than 3 photo's per entrant -Polls will begin when we get 10 entries or hit the 18th of said month, whichever happens first. Themes/Monthly Categories January -"Putting in work" Load up your car, haul something, tow something February -"Winter Wonderland" Show your car playing in the snow March -TBD... April -TBD... May -Get Down and Dirty April showers bring MUD, show how filthy your car can be in the springtime June -Under Construction Shot of your car near or around construction, job site, heavy equipment, etc. July -City Nightlife Shot of your car at night downtown, in an alley, on top of a parking ramp, etc August -Professional Driver on a Closed Course Rally, rally x, auto cross, road racing etc. September -Rolling Out An action shot or rolling shot of your car on the highway, cruising downtown, etc October -Call of the Wild Bring it back to nature, be one with the outdoors, camping, rural driving, etc November -Fall Fun A seasonal shot/fall foliage December -Seasons Greetings A holiday themed shot
With this being the First month out the topic as stated above is Putting in work! So grab that camera, take some new shots, or hit up the recent archives and enter your car and show off. With the fact that this is going up a week into the month we will extend the entry date out to January 22nd.
Negative... Its your car working. Pulling a trailer, hauling your snowboard, bringing home the groceries, taking the mountain bikes or canoe to the great out doors, etc...
I would think it's size dependent based on the hooker. I've seen some big enough hookers that I'd be hard pressed to get more than two in there.
I love the thread idea...so I'll partake: Here's a pic of my STi's maiden voyage in the snow (previously a Vegas car). You can see the skis hidden up on top...I drove it down for some great skiing at Welch. And here's a before shot at the ski hill:

Yeah, what Dean said. I have the TR model, stripped down interior and such. I don't think I'd want leather. I test drove a limited STi, and it's not the best for those on ramps. Dean, pic fail.
Did you happen to be jumping a white Oldsmobile Alero? I used to have one of those: That thing was truly a lemon...and this was the best day of that car's life: Can I count this entry too for the "work" that was done to the guard rail?
It is just a photo contest... This months is more of the generic theme, however the later months, mods might help out. But the main idea is a damn nice shot or 3, of a persons car...

No, it doesn't really matter, just wonderin But, my Celica hauling 2 35"x12.5"x15" Cooper Mud tires: Hauling 2 canoes and a paddle boat from Ely back to Duluth on my dad's wagon: Then, the canoes left here in Duluth, and a desk, queen size bed (the frame is between the mattress and box spring), recliner, and the paddle boat on from Duluth to Alexandria.

A side note after talking with a few people... This its the effort we are hoping for on this"CAR OF THE MONTH" contest. Take some time to set up a nice few shots. I know this month was kind of spur of the moment but going forward, lets get creative and see some top notch car porn! Not necessarily professional grade but a good amount of effort will get you bragging rights.
Hatchbacks + Black Plastic Bags + Dead Tranny = Awesome It's not every day that you get to put someone else's dead tranny in your hatch. Usually they are cut up in pieces and fit much easier..... ..... We put the bags down so her fluids wouldn't ruin the inside of the car. Stupid dead trannys and their fluids
