MNSubaru Club 2008 Spring MEET Starting off this year we're going to meet at a familiar place, IDENTIFIX! Yes it is a place some of us has been to, but don't worry, this year we're trying something NEW and hopefully will give you something MORE than just standing around and BSing. Don't forget, there IS PIZZA!!! The 29th of March it is! Meet starts around NOONish and will last the night however LONG we need to discuss things as far as the CLUB. The MID-afternoon will be for viewing the cars and answering questions, etc. Where? BOTH are heavily modded in their OWNS ways for different purposes. Here you can ask questions and view these two BEASTS that reside here in the Twin Cities. The FIRST CAR will be the Jason's, (readymix) '04 Subaru Impreza WRX. Highly modded with a more than average snail, it'll put most cars on the street to shame. The 2nd car is Fuji's (FuJi K) beast, a '99 Subaru Impreza L wagon. His goes to say, "it drives like a go-kart, but doesn't look the part." Both these cars will be the FIRST cars to be shown here at the lifts this year for viewing. Feel free to ask questions and hopefully gain some tips on how to modify YOUR car to meet YOUR needs. Rally talk & Tarmac Q&A: Interested in Rally stuff or Rallying yourself? Amy will be here to talk about some of the Rallying that she does. They'll help get you into Rallying if you're interested in kicking some dirt/gravel and going slideways! ALSO Chong, volunteer instructer for NorthStarBMW.org will be there to answer any tarmac questions you have and point you towards tarmac events and clubs out there so YOU can enjoy your driving at the track. Might need to trailer my car in, got a flat and some other problems. I might not be able to get the car there in one piece.
But that's the other thing, do we really want to go through all this trouble to drag my beat to ass car to this thing for show and tell. It is coming up on Spring season overhaul time. It needs some work, and the enginebay is a mess. I'm all about it if there is interest, but I'm kindof embarrassed at the current condition (not that it could be helped after a winter season)

I'll be there, one way or another. We'd also like the Task Force guys to come and take some time to stand up and talk about what's happened/happening with the LLC, and the roles that are being created. this would be an awesome opportunity to make some big progress in that.

My car is NOT in the most perfect shape either. Hopefully I can get a tranny thrown in there by then. *whew*
