Well with my extra time off the past 2 weeks, I have had the time to dig into a IRC chat room for MNSubaru. If you look up in the navbar there is now a MNS Chat button. Pressing that should open up a new window with the mibbit chatbox. It looks like it auto populates your screen name for you, but if not, just enter your screen name and join the chat room. My plan is it let it run for a day or 2 and monitor how the servers are taking the extra load. I am also going to look for feedback from everyone else. If the servers don't blow up and everything looks fine, then I will start working on the chat room theme and go live with everything. So please, try it out and let me know what you think or what you would like to see changed. Thanks Russ
Wasn't there some thing where you couldn't start a username with a number? Just go with "ryans_mom." Everyone wants to get to know her better.
Just a bit of a update. The IRC chat has been working all week and it looks like there has been a steady stream of people using it. The good news is that everything seems to be running smooth with no issues. With that said, as of now, chat will stay up and running until we start running out of resources. So have fun and be nice. There are a couple of channel ops that will kick people out for doing stupid things they should not be doing> Russ
