About 6 weeks ago I installed a vendor directory. Over the past couple of weeks, the software creator has polished the system into something that will be very valuable to us. This add-on will allow us to replace the old "shops" link from the VB site along with allowing the vendor/member to claim and update their listing as they see fit. This also opens the possibility for the vendor to run their vendor special threads and such, right from their directory listing. This means that if the vendor chooses, the mod group can move their threads to their directory. You as a member can go to the directory and see all the vendors threads, along with all the contact info you would need to get a hold of the vendor along with a map of their location. This is also open to the general members. If you as a member would like to list your services for everyone (idget with the detail work, Scuba Steve with general repairs, optimusrob with window tinting, etc) please fee free to create a listing to showcase your work. Currently I have the directory set up with 3 listings. Vendor - Vendors that deal with MNSubaru - Import Image, MAP, Grimmspeed, etc Dealerships - These are the dealerships that deal with MNSubaru - Tonka, Burnsville, Brooklyn Park Member Garages - General membership garages http://mnsubaru.com/directory/ Over the next few weeks, Broco and myself will be adding vendors and dealerships to the list and updating their listings. If you as a vendor are not on the list, please fee free to add yourself under the correct listing. If your company has been already added to the directory, you can claim the entry and start to use it. Currently, everything that the mod staff adds to the directory, will be listed as anonymous and we will send out notes to the companies asking them to claim their listing. If your company is already listed, it is as simple as clicking claim this entry. From there, you can edit you listing and add any information you would like. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. As I stated above, Broco and myself will be adding vendors from out listing and if you as a general member would like to add yourself/shop, please add it to the correct categories. Thank you Russ
