What: Once a month we'll pick a pho restaurant for us to try. Eventually we'll find out who has the best pho in town. Date: Saturday January 10th Time: 4pm Location: the old University buffet building. 225 University ave St. Paul, 55103 Anyone is welcome to attend. The best pick me up soup for any occasion.
I can tell you Cheng Heng's pho isn't the best, but they do have some other delicious dishes. Just sayin'.

I had Pho for the first time last weekend (from Quang) and it was delicious! I wish I could make this event, but I will unfortunately be out of town...next time perhaps!

Would like to try and make this also, but with a 2 year old it gets pretty interesting since they don't always sit still. LOL And I see that there is only 1 kid that came to the Pho event and I don't think he is 2.

Dates have changed on myside and I have to go out of town this weekend. I'll still setup reservation for the group. So far we have a possibly of 7-10.
So... the event is still 11/3 but you won't be able to attend? Let me know if you need a hand with anything. Not that it's rocket science, but if someone has to show up early/etc I can help. I won't have the wife and kid in tow so I can actually get from point A to point B on something resembling a schedule.

damn, i totally want in. although in my opinion, the pho tour should start at New Mandarin in Coon Rapids. And every single month, should be at New Mandarin in Coon Rapids. Simply the best pho I have ever had ever. Evar.
I'm in. Bona used to be my favorite pho in town but their broth isn't as meaty before. Plus its like $8 a bowl compared to $1.50 in Vietnam lol
Thanks to the folks who made it out! It was a smaller group tonight, but better pho. I liked the broth here a lot more. Doesn't hurt that they garlic bombed it either.
Yes, I liked it too. I also had a flat black Integra that challenged me to a frumroll on the way there. Lol.
