    I am wondering how many people have to complain about the site before it gets finished?

    Can we please at LEAST get the main page links at the top to be working.

    I know the godfathers of this site are very busy with work and what not...maybe its time to let some others contribute to the site because there are many very talented people in this club that could do it.

    Any other comments..please post.

    here here... I agree... I check the forums everyday... to find not much changed and no links to search... kinda makes me want to stay with nasioc etc...

    well, the site needs to get moved to a faster server, and we should upgrade the software. We have talked about this many times before but it never goes past that. I am willing to put up some cash for a faster server (steve-o found a good deal) we just need to get Jordan and Todd involved.

    Finally a thread with some meat. I am for getting this site up and running. I will donate some cash if needed for a faster server, but more so I will search out discounts for all to benefit from. (Local Shops, links, club events.)

    Well dreamhost has a deal right now (cause I know some ppl ;)) thats 9.99 for a YEAR. Thats 2400 MB Disk, 120 GB Transfer.

    Just some more ideas...

    Thanks jdgrimm.. as mentioned neither Vic or I have had any time to put toward the site, and I'm glad you're willing to take it over

    Russ, yes, it does need to be moved to a faster server.. currently running on my home connection. (it is running on a true server box, it's my upload bandwidth which hurts)

    jdgrimm now has full access to the site :) Let the fun begin!

    SOrry to all that I could not find the time to do this :-( I have several other side projects that are also behind (paying ones, so they take priority over mnsubie too :-( )

    if u want to get ahold of jordan, go on www.mnaudi.com and talk to him on there. he is active on there a lot. i had his number but i lost it. he is a good guy, he helped me soup up my audi a4 when i first bought it and made me come to his work, i didnt even know the guy. jrpice is a good guy. go chill on mnaudi and tell him don't forget about his subaru peeps! :D

    Bumping for progress

    Justin is back from the hospital and so am I so we worked on some things a bit today.

    I successfully transfered over the snitz DB to phpbb2 and am fairly confident that I can make it work with any bulletin board software if that route is chosen...

    In conclusion: $password = bin2hex(mhash(MHASH_SHA256, $password));

    God I hate snitz, there is nothing wrong with md5, the few collisions are not worth the hassel...:(!



    maybe Justin will post with more progress later.

    We have found a host that will give us the fast speeds we want...so no more biotching about the slowness of the site. In turn, we will need to be generating some minimal cash flow in order to keep the site online. I will be setting up a "Make A Donation" function that uses paypal. I do not have the final numbers yet but i will supply them when i get them.
