yes thats correct, more mullet for me Some of you know i am really into Cutlasses and oldsmobiles besides subies, anyways i'll be trading my pickup for this car, should be taking delivery in the next week its an 85 cutlass supreme, orginally a 231 ( buick 3.8 v6) but now is a 1971 stg1 buick 455, rated at 370 hp and 510 ft lbs (gross rated) its pretty knarly to drive, it will break them loose at 60 in 3rd as soon as the 4 bbl opens, its gonna need some sticky sticky tires, but should be at least a low 13 second car without traction, I am REALLY excited, i know its not everyones cup of tea, but you gotta respect them torques!!!
no tops ftl, it sucks not being able to always enjoy it. unless you are talking about a mustang, then you should be smacked
you'll be set to cruise main street in Anoka with that thing! Does it come with a flannel shirt? reminds me of my GF's car in high school.
woah, woah, woah. Where'd this thread come from? All this talk about Cobras, Cruisin Main street, and mullets. I NEED to be in this thread. Thems fightin werdz.
lol does that mean i am gonna try? it would be unfair considering i got the truck for free that i am trading for this, so that starts me off at 0$
damn... You need to spend like $13K to reach the half point of the cobra. with that amount of money, you'd have an all out drag car .
i know, its awesome, and it comes with a built TH350 trans (not installed) i think it would be about 5K just to get the suspension as good as a stock cobra though
eh, but your live axle is superior in a straight line. The cobras IRS is crap for hooking and wheel hops like a biatch. We consider going to a regular Mustang GT's live axle an upgrade :eek3:. IT wouldn't take much to make it superior for drag racing, but the twisties.....
well they can make G bodies handle pretty well, but like i said it takes $$$ just a poly bushing kit and springs is $1800
