well for those of you who actually even know what the car is... bravo. lol and for those of you who have talked to me about mine you would know i was always talking about doing a wideboy something or another and just trying to "update it" a little...well this guy beat me to it. i wouldnt do something that extreme, but there are parts that i really like, such as the flairs.

figured i would post it up, never see many posts like this :p unless its from taras

Cool, the guy had to figure out how to mate a B4 manual tranny to the car. It says he had to fabricate the clutch and stuff. Some of the wide body parts were custom fabed by vailside i guess.

Why would you want to put an ej motor in the already powerful SVX?

You can only get like 280 or so out of that motor. You can get 500+ out of ej without much trouble.

You're hilarious. An idiot can get 300 horses from it.

The nasioc link puts 280 to the WHEELS.

Taras, the EG33, and the one in that thread is naturally aspirated.

Throw some boost at it(not that simple, I know) and things could get really interesting.

as much as i hate to say it tho, the car doesnt look bad at all... paint isnt my cup of tea, and there are some seriously ricey things going on, but it actually fits the body lines of the car fairly well.

    ^^^AGREED!

I say take away the wing and that reduces the rice effect by quite a bit! I really like the looks, plus rare and something you don't see everyday... :yumyum:

Front end from first glance does kinda look like a Supra front... I think it is pretty hot!

psh, fenders and flairs would happen..but in raw CF too... then a new CF hood, CF trunk, CF doors, CF sun roof...lol, i think you get the point. that car would finally go on a diet, and my wallet and I would as well.

well doing it all wouldn't be too bad, time consuming for sure... carbon fiber just went up in price again due to the petroleum spike in cost too... i am more content with my wagon now tho than i was with the SVX...the SVX draws to much attention, not what i want/need anymore.

hey come on meow, the wagon is a subaru...a subaru with some serious coilovers. lol

i rocked the SVX for 2 years solid, if I could afford the insane insurance, premium gas that the thing guzzles down (how i drive), and brake pads, i would. lol

    FAIL

    EG33.

EG bellhousings are the same as EJ. motor mounts are the same. get a ride in Dao's impreza some time. stock N/A motor, and you'll crap yourself from the power (specifically.....the torque!).

problem is, EG33s eat 5-speeds for breakfast.

meh, neat concept and impressive work, but I wouldn't run any of that on anything of mine.

You dont look like the sharpest tool in the shed yourself:roll:

No question i am sure with some boost it will be really nice. Like that tribeca engine in Perrin sti. What i meant is that its pretty hard to boost it and will cost way more than ej motors. But i know they make bolt-on superchargers for tribeca so thats an option.

You need to STFU when you have no idea what you are talking about. You struggle with figuring out what injectors you need, but seem to know about all kinds of other more complicated things like forced induction on an SVX. Have you ever even been under the hood of one of these?

Seriously, the EG33 can lay down 500whp without even cracking it open. They use the same internals as any EJ22E/T so if you really want to build it, its not that hard. Then all bets are off.

WTF man. You cannot compare the EG33 to an EZ30R. They are about 15 years apart. Do you have any idea what that means in terms of developement? SO much has changed since they developed the EG33 its not even funny.

you guys are just being ****s for no reason. Pulling parts of what I said and turning them around. I said that its easier to get more power out of ej motors because there more parts available for them.

    Actually you said:

    And:

And while the EJ powerplant is impressive, an EJ20 would likely need some expensive reworking near the 500hp mark. Not to mention that your bolt-ons become expensive also, along with the supporting mods. There's a lot of parts available for the EJ33 as well, so it's really not much more expensive to modify it. Also, if there's a bolt-on kit it's probably not hard. Just be more careful of what you're saying or how you say it; especially with guys like curlz and AWDimprezaL around to pick your comments apart.
