hey you guys i've been thinking every time we've been told there will be snow, a thread pops up here and we all talk about how fun it would be to play in it and blah blah and then - it doesn't happen i am starting to think that these threads are causing the weather gods to toy with us
/\/\ this. I love snow but it has been a long winter. I'm ready for open water, summer rubber and daylight remaining by the time I get off of work.
although ... during this time of winter, the days usually start off great right before a big snowstorm. It has to get it's last laugh sometime. But yes, I tire of this greyness and the BLAH of winter - global warming my butt.
kinda gave me a visual of those old movies where the greek gods would mess with the mortal humans....
figures that my STi is getting its struts replaced and I am stuck with a dumb loaner car. they told me they would have it done today, now they say they might need it overnight.
at least your car is being fixed right now, I'm waiting for my bank to endorse the check from my insurance company. :\
yeah...true. only rear ones under warranty though. If only I had the money for some nicer aftermarket ones, and whatever else I would need to lower that beast a bit.
No to be a downer, but its going to hit midday right now, unlike a nice evening snow, lot of it will be gone pretty early
right on man... well if white bear subaru gets finished with my car tonight I will come out, but it sounds like they might be slow bums, needing it overnight. we will find out in a few hours. they had me bring it in at 9am...I called at 2 to check on it, and they hadn't even started. rear struts... anyone know how long that should take?
hour maybe w/ someone who knows what there doing... Who knows tho... hope they get it done. EDIT: I don't work friday. If its snowing i want one last funtime! Get to put winter rims back on :-D!
I know it... thing is, I bought it at luther and this strut thing is under their initial 30 day warranty. it is beyond it now, but they ordered the parts before the warranty expired and it took them a while to get em in. also I have the extended warranty through them. I did get the job at morries though...too bad my car wasn't for sale at that price there. oh well...
they first said 1 to 2 hours the other day, then i called to re-set my appt. and the one guy said 5 to 6 hrs. crazy stuff.
I am out at the expense of "the slowsky's" 9 hours was not enough time for them to do my struts today, so they have to keep my car overnight and finish in the morning. I guess I am no mechanic, but considering the time estimate they first gave me, I am kind of irritated. unless you guys wanna see a toyota corolla rental try and tear it up out there..I am unfortunately out of the count tonight. have fun if it snows in time....:emo:
To be honest, I don't even know---I haven't even received the info from it in the mail like the told me. I didn't know there was a difference---first time buying from a dealership. all of that aside, the struts are being replaced under the initial 30 day luther warranty that comes with all vehicles.
Wait, I thought we were going tommorow. We're getting dumped on tommorow, not today. Oh and lights snow in Hopkins as I drove through
