First off, I would like to thank everyone who was patient while I did a full site backup and upgrade. It has been a little while since I have done a full site backup, so it is nice to get that out of the way. Anyways. I have updated to the latest VB 4.1.3 this morning. This consists of 2 fairly large bug fix updates. The total bug fix should be up in the 300 or so alone with streamlining some of the code. Hopefully the site will be a bit snappier for everyone and we should be getting some of the little bugs fixed up. As with all other site updates, if you see something out of place, or hit a bug, please let me know and I will try and get things fixed up asap. I did run everything on my dev site, but that is no match for 400+ users a day hitting the site. Thanks again Russ
Just noticed in IE 7.0 when I get a notification that I have a new message, I click "OK" to view it and then it asks me to hit "Ok" again if I want to open it in another window, or "Cancel" to open it in the current window. When I hit "Cancel", I get a 404 error.
That's your problem, not the updates. Thanks Russ. I haven't noticed anything weird with FF4 or Safari5 yet.
I will have to dig into that. I don't have any browsers from 2007 installed on my computer. Russ
Yeah dude, IE7 was superseded by IE8 2 years ago... current version is IE9 (or "IE10 platform preview")... I don't think IE9 will work if she's running Window XP.
But where are all the pretty pictures? You must be a linux user. My only experience with lynx was with a visually impaired (DOS) user who refused to use more current screen reader technology with any number of current web browsers.
