Who is registered and what are you running. i was looking at the entry list ans saw tons of subarus but the only ones i know by name are stoo, zak
Its full. I'm number 609 (The Minnesota criminal code, hurrr). Look for me at the very bottom of the results times.
There's Shane too, but he's hiding in a Lotus I'm in too, wondered for a while what a 1st gen turbo-legacy can do in HS and decided to see for myself
I'll be at 1 and 2 in an STU class STI... #785... if the suspension parts come. Otherwise I'll be in HS class with an 89 civic on all season tires. Chad (zombie) should be there too and there are a handful of other subaru owners that don't post here often.
after this event you pretty much are going to have to register within a day or two of them coming available (registration starts one month before the event day). check the calendar on mnautox.com
I'm running The Stoobaru at MOWOG1, but I'll be trying to scare the crap out of myself in an Elise at MOWOG2.
Wow, that's lame... I wanted to go through this season's race schedule, but I wasn't really thinking about them filling up(foolish me...). The first 2 events are already full. I might have to start begging for spots, lol.
If you really want in bad enough, you can show up early and put your name on a waiting list. We don't run a waiting list on the forums or anything ahead of time, just day of event. No guarantee's of course, but we do get no-shows and you can be in line to take those spots if your there. Supply and demand!
You can always start a WTB thread on the MAC forum, or show up early on the day and see if you can get a spot that way. Stuart.
I'm in for my 07 WRX. Hopefully the new Z1s will get off backorder and I won't have to thrash the already bald Blizzaks. lol Saturday only.
This event got sold out quick! I might stopby and see some old faces and observe for awhile if the weather is nice or especially if its really bad. LOL
I got in as soon as Shane told me they're open. Haha, I'll try to get some dorifto going on in a corner or two if I'm still rockin the Blizzaks. Take some cool pics for me.
Sound like my kind of a guy, snow tires for the first event. LOL Will do my best to get some pictures of you in action, but first I have to find out who you are in person.
Ha, thanx. No, not that red, nor long. Thank GOD. anyway. Yeah, I really hope I don't have to flog my poor already dead blizzaks. :emo: I want stickyyyyyyyyyy
i had a feeling most of the subys i saw on the registration were on here. i just only know a few by name.
I would at least loan you my stock wheels with my Continental tires on it but they won't clear your 4-pots! Haha, that'll teach you to have better brakes than me!!! ...Ginger!
OMG I CAN HAS!? Naw, I just gave away my set of used RE92s. I thought I'd have to pay to get rid of those. And honestly, the Blizzaks bald stick better than the RE92s did.
I've got a set of almost dead 215/45R17 Falken 512's on Prodrive P7's that I could lend you for the event if you want. They aren't sticky by any means, but they are much better than blizzaks.
I'll keep you in mind, Speedy. Thank you, but I should have the Dunlops by then. If for some reason I don't I will definitely take you up on your offer and buy you some food or something in return. haha
Getting my fat as hell Direzza Sport Z1s mounted and balanced right now. They're killing my paint tho!!! Oh well, free is free, and a $5 can of paint is nothing.
How are they killing your paint? They're great tires, BTW Mine did seem to have quite abit of release agent on them and needed like 500mi to get sticky. Now they're awesome. Go break them in (I did laps of 494/694 -- productive)
Yeah, there's alot of release agent on them, but they're sticky already, IMO. lol The stupid tech working on them killed my paint on my rims. lol The good tire machine was broken, so now I have to respray.
i'll be there, but the suby's going to stay in the parking lot this weekend... she's just not ready. JIC is taking their sweet ass time getting my coil overs back to me. Managed to finagle a co-drive in a Louts Elise (with SLICKS!! YAY!)jfor M1, and my friend has his mostly stocker, csp miata for sunday... woot.. i need some seat time in some RWD NA cars... they're not my strong point at all right now... defenetly seem to find my self more firmiliar in the AWD and Turbo vehicles.
I'll be needing a full report on that before 8am Sunday. Oh, and don't run the tyres down to the cords, or I'll hunt you down and spank you like a bad, bad donkey, m'kay. Thanks, Stuart.
Stooooooooooooart I have a feeling he will be feeling the wrath of oversteer at least once in that thing. I still gotta find a spot to wear that mold release compound away.
I don't know about oversteer in the Elise w/slicks. I have driven one with the stock Yoko's and though the car is very slight, it lacks torque and unless you have enough room to stretch its kinda hard to break it loose, at least thats been my experience. What ever the case I'd love to hear all about it.
