I have a friend coming from Green Bay this saturday and I want to bring him to a clubby type place with that "big city feel" that he has never experienced. Here's where it gets difficult... we won't be able to get DT until 12-ish (we will be dropped off though). Neither of us are made of money. I hate 21-22yr. old d-bags. Would also like to avoid paying more than a $10 cover or standing in line for more than 15min. Any ideas? I think I will just have to be content with stopping in some clubby place with him for a drink and to look at the girlies, and then move on to some other place that we will be overdressed, but more comfortable/drunk. Where??? thanks
brothers and drink is cheap cover but college bar atmosphere aqua is the new younger crowd cover is $10 and lines can be about 15 min long
good times, but if you dont like crowded dont go. They jam that place full of peeps. Girlys are good to look at there however
Exactly why I don't usually go anywhere DT on weekends, but I told my friend I will show him a zoo of a bar, so I will just deal with it...plus I just got some new shoes...
For Mpls: Foundation, Spin, Bar Fly, Visage, Loft, Aqua, Envy, Karma and Epic... just to name a few clubs in the area.
I hate clubs, but aqua is the only thing i can remotely stand because they actually play trace music in the back dance room. Plus that's the only place my azn friends go and they always get me in for free and without uphearing to the dress code
Hey now, that place got me laid on more than 1 occasion! Annex, Aqua, Williams and there is another one or 2 close to Williams that I can't remember. Although William's and Brothers are more of bars than clubs I would say. Independent is kinda laid back and boring. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to sit and drink.
add drink to that one! i have a buddy who works at a few clubs DT and i can get VIP in most of them any day of the week cuz of him. nice to have those connections. cept im not a club fan all that much

Jesus those bar names have changed so many times in the last few years its hard to keep up which one was which. I have no info for you, haven't been DT in a quite a while.
