A 2009 impreza. no turbo, nothing exciting. It's getting reapolstered with leather tomorrow. 5 speed.

I've got few vw toys, including an 81 caddy that will begin to get restored this summer and hopefully have a tdi swap by the end of next winter.

Thought I'd say howdy, and make sure people know I am not a troll.

Ps. I'm looking for a set of 5x100 wheels- 17's or 18's- lmk what ya got!

Welcome, and BTW turbos are everything. My wife has an 09 Forester N/A. We love it.

Drop that thing and add some sway bars. You'll be glad you did.

I like turboz. just wanted something na for awhile. Heavy foot=no gas milage. My wife has a mk4 tdi, and I'm going to be starting a '81 rabbit pickup rebuild, with a tdi swap. shooting for 70mpgs.

planning on finding lowering springs, adding sways, wheels, and roof rack. Was looking for some side skirts and different options for the bumpers (lips, different bumpers, etc).

    And now noob questions.

Do the HIDs in the WRXs swap right over?
    Best places to buy mods/accessories?
What other Subaru forums exist? (I've found nasioc)

Too many. Locally, just Eurowerks, MAC (autox), and here.

Nationally, NASIOC and 914world. Should probably join the Saab92x folks as well.

No I haven't yet, and I need to in order to free up the cashflow for summer wheels/tires before you beat me to all the cool ones. Know anybody looking for a cheap and reliable (for the price) vehicle?

I don't know anyone. toss it up on eurowerks, i'm sure you'll get it gone. I'm only after 4 sets of wheels right now. But only 2 are serious. Need summers for the subie and mk4. Then hopefully picking up winters. no seasons blow. And I'm not the wheel whore that James (casper on ew) is, so I won't beat you to all of them :)
