My 92 subaru legacy started losing power and then lost all power all together, it starts and when i put it in drive or any other gears it roles with out pressing the gas, but when i press the gas it trys to die and the air filter housing starts to shake real violently. i can slowly pump the gas and get it to reve but still has no power. i really need some help its been almost 2 months and ive lost my job over it so if anyone knows that would be cool. Thanks

    WAG (wild guess)
AFM (air flow meter) or un-metered air leak...
Disconnect the electrical connector from the AFM. Then see if it will start and stay running. If it runs better, then... there is something wrong with the AFM or you have a un-metered leak after the AFM.

Again this is only a WAG.
