    they just drove around with canoes and kayaks tied to the roof then went home!!!

    Looks to me the photographer got dumped on the shore. Why were you carrying water toys, I dont see any bodies of water in your pictures? JK

    Awsome pictures, I am glad you had fun carrying those canoes around on your camping trip. LOL

    Looks like more of a road trip than a camping trip to me. Did you even have a tent or did you just sleep in the car or was it a one day thing?

    My gf and two of my friends web to tofte( an hour north of Duluth). For four days. We stayed at lambs resourt in tents. We went hikeing and canoeing.

    Split Rock has a nice camp ground too...beautiful views of the lake, and if you're there in the winter, the cross country ski trails make great places to pass out/heckle skiers.

    Lambs resort huh? My family and I used to go up there every year, 1st week of October. We would stay in the log cabins. It's so nice up there.

    I have to agree though that you cannot beat the BWCA. I am going up there for 9 days starting friday. Also split rock park is pretty cool, I was just there a fwe days ago, but I have to say that canoing on superior wouldnt be my favorite thing to do.

    That was you. Next time, please drive a little faster. And, when I pass you, please don't pass me 2 seconds later...it made no sense because you were driving the like 2-3mph under the speed limit.

    I swear to god I was behind them this weekend when I was headed to my cabin. My cabin is in Lutsen, so it makes sense they were on 61..
