ok, I had enough of bug going into my intercooler and I though of this way to fix it. Bought some cheapo filter(ac filters) from Wal-mart and tried this. The only problem is that donnoe if its High Heat resistance. I've tried melting it with a Glue Gun and it doesn't melt but we'll see after driving it. Air goes through it perfectly. Donnoe about Rain though. What do you guys think?

Water to wash the bugs off and let it be the way it was meant to be... its hot enough out. with a micro filter block your I/C

I think you're really restricting the ammount of air that should be flowing into your IC.

take it off and just make some sort of grille to block it
or drive your car off a cliff.

all I can suggest is putting a mesh in front of your hood scoop...but it won't be small enough for bugs not to go through...u definately don't want to screw with the air going to the I/C u don't want any cooling issues due to bugs!?!

Agreed /\..... Maybe some mesh screening (or fine chicken wire to be a cheapo about it) at the front of scoop as a grill...

you can alway put double sided sticky tape inside the scoop and bugs will just stick on that instead of going to your tmic...

Go to home depot, and get a section of gutter guard ($1.00). it's a steel mesh little bigger than chicken wire, cut it to shape then zip tie it to the scoop supports.

ok, IT WAS A BAAAD IDEA.... This morning I forgot that I put that filter on my scoop and I drove it to NorthTown and realized that my accelleration is kinda slow and also, every time I shift theres a poor shift making the car shaky(like when you're just started learning to drive Manual). Got back home and notice that its that Bugie protector. Through it away and put my Cutted Intake Silencer on and torque kicks in fast at low RPM. ---stupid me----
