My autometer egt gauge is acting really wierd, it works fine but when I build boost above 10psi or am in WOT the needle goes to 0 then back to 1200, 1300, or whatever it should be at when I take my foot off the gas.

I think I may just have a loose ground wire or something but I dont know this is pretty wierd.

It worked fine for about 2 months and just started doing this last night.

    Some EGT voodoo going on.

I installed my Maddad EGT a couple weeks ago, and yesterday it decided to bury itself @ max temp (2k+) right upon startup, even without the sensor attached. Boo :(

Well then, attach the sensor and I bet you will be amazed at the results... :p

As for the OP, bad ground is possible...where is it located? How was it mounted? If it isn't threaded in, could it be the cause of a leak?

Nathan drilled and tapped my mani on the drivers side and the probe is tight. I am pretty sure its a wiring issue im going to rerun the ground this weekend and see if it helps.

I was also thinking the gauge itself might have crapped out on me.
