well after how long? wow i was getting really used to having that straight pipe yell at me from under the car every time i drove it haha. now it sounds waaaay quite in comparison inside the car. i can listen to music without having to blast it for myself to hear. i still think everyone is full of poop cuz it doesnt seem like the Nur spec is as loud as not having an exhaust. maybe when i REALLY get on it. but i like how it made the car more sound real deep. i was sick of getting turned down by shops saying that they cant get a 3in flange for me.... so i went to talk to the guys at DB because they deal with 1000+whp cars and i know those exhausts HAVE to be bigger than 3in... after a couple hours of not having my car they got her all did up. check it out!
now i can come down to firestone without having the fuzz getting up in my face like they LOVE to do to imports with no mufflers. it sounds pretty good. i do have a Cat on my downpipe though so the turbo spool noise isnt really there anymore :emo: the hardest thing about this axle back was it was off of a 04 sti and was made to bolt up to a stock midpipe.... had to get it retro fited.
i cant seem to get off work anymore. it sucks but i think i have the next tuesday off. ill be there for sure if i do. i dont care if nobody shows up. ill be there. lol it sounds a lot diff. i need to get rid of the cat and it might sound more beastly. it cost me 260 cuz it took a while to weld all together because they took off the midpipe flange and put a new one on there so it would match perfectly. they did a really good job. but left my boost on high (they must have taken her out for a lil test spin on 94) so i just hope they treated her well.
