congrats man. I would like to do that sometime. I am guessing they are getting fewer and fewer as the winter gets closer. Are there any in the winter?

We all want to get them dirty, that way it makes sense to wash them so often.

    I was there

Hey, where are my pics? I got second in my class with the silver '01 RS sedan on Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s. I woke up too late to put the Blizzaks on. There were also three photography pros there shooting and I'm hoping they have more action to show.

The RallyX was near Hammond, WI. A bit east of River Falls. It was 16 miles east from the border on 94, then about 14 miles north and east. The new site is awesome, since it's inside a gravel pit with good viewing locations from above on every side. The next event is there on Oct. 30.

It was a brand new site for us. It's at the corner of county road T and hwy 64. We usually go to either Corcoran, MN, Arkansaw, WI (yes, that's how it's spelled), or Princeton, MN. As I said, we'll be at Hammond again on Oct. 30.

So what is the typical condition of the courses? Any major worries about tearing something off the bottom of your car? I'm running stock suspension and could throw on my winter tires and come to play. :D

That's exactly what I'd be concerned about. Tearing something off the bottom of my car. I might have to either get some skid plates or stick to the tarmac.

The Audis were the only ones to lose their skidplates and at least one had been rallycrossing for years without it happening. Everything thought it was a quirk related to how badly Audi attaches their CF skidplates and that it was simply this new course. Someone said I bottomed out the Subaru at least once this time. I didn't notice any new paint damage though. If you really want skidplates, here are the nice ones the rally guys use: http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/skid.htm
