It was an install day, and was awesome. Drove 3 hours from base to north LA, lol. GREAT group of guys/girls. Its crazy how as long as the people are into subarus, they seem to be fantastic everywhere you go. Yes, everyone out here gives waves, peace signs, and revs with mad BOVZTARASZOMNG!!!!!! We ate steaks and burgers for lunch/dinner, and had icecream cake (cali people know how to do it up). We worked through the 105 degree heat, which was actually nice in comparison to the heat out where im stationed in the desert, and everyone there ended up jumping in the pool to cool off at some point. Had a great time helping everyone get parts installed on their cars, and even got my boost issues/tune stuff figured out. Found out why my AC wasnt working (tensioner is BUSTED) and Cleared my headlights ALSO ::gasp:: got a 3 year-temporary sticker: More pictures of the fun:
PS, its really funny to hear people talk about grimmspeed. OMG GRIMMSPEED PARTS OMG haha, they love your stuff justin. Its insane how quickly word of your stuff spread. A lot of the guys out here have stuff, and a few sport stickers too. I'm sure you could work out some sort of group deal, or even get vendor status over on their forum (for free still on there I believe). Maybe just post up a link to your site. Socalsubies.com
Check AllWheelJunkies too. I know the guy that runs it is a jackwit, but the rest of them are usually ok. They hang out near the Subaru dealership off 163 on Thursdays. They also have a meet on the first wednesday of the month in front of a store...and for the life of me I can't remember where. But it is usually huge.
Dude you can't have Subaru's without dirt and snow. LOL Looks like you found a good group of Subaru's to hang out with. Congrats.
