I was just wondering if this used to belong to anyone on this forum. He got it at Morries of Minnetonka, which I guess it was there for a long time. All I know about it off the top of my head is. It's Rally Blue, 2004 WRX STi, dark tinted windows, subaru aftermarket stickers on the windshield, subaru has been taken off of the trunk, it has a radar detector, gold rota wheels and appears to be all stock as far as engine/suspension. We're just trying to figure out the history of this car a little bit, the backend appears to have been painted.

As an introduction for myself I've been to the FS lot a few times in the past few years. I own an Evo IX MR but I AM a Subaru enthusiast. I've owned many in the past and now own a 1991 Subaru Legacy Turbo that I'm going to be doing some work on this Summer.

Him and I plan on hanging out with you guys more at the FS lot this summer so I look forward to meeting more of you :)

    Peace and thanks!

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. He spent I think about $24,000 on it. I think it has about 35,000 miles on it or so I could be off a little bit though.

Yeah we were kind of confused as to why it would have rotas instead of the stock rims. Since the stock rims are really nice, but maybe the guy needed money or something after buying another set of rims.

I test drove that car last July when I was in the market. they were asking like 28,000 then - said it wouldn't last long lol!

glad I found a nicer, cheaper, private party STi lol (although after test driving that one I was convinced I needed to buy an STi)

The previous owner probably owned two sets of wheels; the stock BBS ones and then the Rotas. I'm sure that the trade-in value wouldn't change with either set of wheels on it.

What was probably good for him is bad for you -- trade in the STi with the pos Rotas and keep the sweet BBS wheels and sell them for $$$.

what I meant was, damn 5x114.3, because that's what you mostly see for sale for the bbs, it's harder to find the 5x100

Yeah was at FS last night. Met some people, I plan on coming down a lot more this summer (probably every weekend), so hopefuly I won't feel like a dork everytime I come to the lot :)

Haha yeah they were obviously wrong. The only reason we went with that STi is I had just purchased my MR so he was power hungry and mainly because they gave him an awesome deal on his trade in.

That's pretty much what we were thinking, just hoping it wasn't due to an accident or something seeing that the backend was repainted.
