no its not a crawford, they started with a bare sti block and went from there

there isnt much out about the turbo kit, and I dont know alot about turbos, I know it has a 65lb compressor, is that the same as wheel

 

No. That sounds like the 61mm compressor wheel from the GT35R, which is a great wheel and found in a lot of hybrid turbos nowdays. A 65mm inducer compressor wheel would probably by more in the 72-75lb/min range.

We wanted the best possible spoolup while hitting our target of 400 whp on pump fuel and 500 on race gas but the GT35R was not delivering all the characteristics we wanted. We ended up with 430 whp and 535 whp with the turbocharger we call the “GT65†which is a combination of Garrett “GT†series components and standard “T†series components. The only thing “65†stands for is the compressor flow as this allows us to define our product with an easy nomenclature given we have other turbochargers for this same kit in the works. So as we release other turbocharger options the Element GT65 stands for (Garrett Turbocharger 65 lbs).

 

I have tuned a Hydra before. Kinda a weird system.

 

I also put in an order on cams, kelford if they can get them or DPR if they cant

 

how about a drag chute?

 

Maybe if he adds a 200 shot of nitrous.

No more element tuning turbo kit( long story) the godspeed Spec R 750 ball bearing turbo with stainless exhaust housing and 4 inch inlet, is in the mail, will have it on tuesday
