hey guys, thanks. i know i have a MBC and it sux. i will get rid of it and purchase a Cobb Accessport this summer once funds are available. As far as more engine performance modifications.... I will be installing a Greddy Trust oil cooler and a perrin drop in filter last for this summer.

The Greddy oil cooler comes with SS lines right? If you want to cool down your Suby dramatically...Get a Bigger Radiator and Headers...More free Flow less compressed heat. GT-Spec Gen II (3 Bolt-Pattern) is a great upgrade, it also comes with an up-pipe. With the Headers you'll notice more TQ @ Topend as well. It dropped my EGT Temp about 200-210 degrees with those upgrades. I also had a Oil cooler and I didn't notice any significate drop, maybe 30-40 degrees. If you need a Cobb AP let me know...Chances are I can get you a better Deal. Here is some pics of the Koyo Racing Radiator and GT-Spec Headers, before and after pics...Hope this helps

ahh.. nice. well. to be honest the subaru is cool enough, the oil cooling is just a secondary caution. on a second note, EGT temp dropage could be lots of things... such as timing related, or running to lean/rich and so forth....

^True...But I haven't tuned my car after those installs, so my ECU is still my current Ecutek reflash. With that it still dropped nicely. But it is always good to be caution (better safe then sorry). Post some pics after you installed your Oil cooler...I'd like to see how the Greddy looks after the install. If it turns out well I may just replace my Cooltek one. I already pulled it off because of Leaks (rubber tubes expand), just make sure you use SS braided Lines, well worth it.

I'd stay away from the Sage CF exhaust Finisher...Someone here got Ripped off buying it...It did not fit at all, huge gaps...I'd checkout Subydude.com they have one too with a aluminum finish
