Just picked up this beast as a work truck and tow rig. I'm lovin it so far, i just need to avoid spending to much money on making it fast and i will be good.

The only thing that truck needs is a BullyDog tuner and some better tires and you're set. Very nice choice.

Side note - make sure the trans fluid isn't scorched.

That is a fantastic looking truck! Also props on the Duramax. I am guessing the Wagacy will be towed behind that to Orr this Jan? It will look pretty slick having the tow truck and race car be WRB ;-)

If you've ever pulled a load on them you'd know better, Mike. :)

    They don't like sidewinds.

    Nice truck!!

It for sure needs a Chips of somesort. My dad sells edge boxes by the dozens, most people really like them! If you are planning on doing some serious towning i would think about looking into a exhaust for it as well!

I think PPE tuners are top of the line for the Duramax, Just join a couple of their forums and youll find out fast... And nice buy!!

Believe me i have pulled many loads with these tires and they only had c load ratings.

Anyway, enjoy the truck, it looks awesome. And the tires

thanks guys, im really liking it so far. put over 500 miles on it since tuesday.

im planning on getting a programmer of some sort, just dont know what yet. only really looking for better mileage and something that might help when towing, not trying to make the truck the fastest vehicle i own. would like a programmer that doubles as a gauge set up tho. that would be nice.

    one billion pounds!

seriously tho, the one I drive at work pulls a 13,000 lbs mini escavator almost everyday and you can barely tell it's there going up hills in duluth. Downhills is another story tho haha
