Picked up my second Subaru today. 1994 Legacy Sport Sedan, 105k, 5speed.

Needs some brakes/tires and some strut mounts. That's about it.

I hate you. Not really. This car is SOOO clean, and runs SOOO well. I'm really glad someone I know bought it, who will treat it right, and not some ******* kid. this will be fun :)

I ended up paying book value. But it was well worth it. I took Grayguy for a spin it in, its suprisingly quick for what the horsepower is.

You're missing the "SUBARU" badge. That shoulda been worth a few hundie, since there's only a handfull left, forever.

I agree, there's just some adhesive on there now. What a rip-off. I just got done doing my first few mods within 24 hours of buying it! :p

6 spoke RS wheels and an aluminum shift knob to replace that ****ty eggshaped thing. I really gotta find some newer age impreza shift linkage and bushings because when I am IN GEAR I can move the shifter side to side atleast 2 inches. It gives new meaning to the term SLOP.

there is no spring what so ever, but i dont think that there is supposed to be one. I havent seen it on any diagrams. its just a EA 4spd it happens.

When does the TD04 go in? or are you skipping right to the VF39?

Yea I saw you roll by with the dominoes sign on the top. Thanks :)
Struts are horrible, I took it on the freeway today and got a bit scared at over 60mph. Might need a ball joint/tie rod end too, front is a tinch sloppy.

As for turbo, I'm not sure. I just want to get it on the road and reliable and try not to spend much money on mods. Gotta get the other EJ22T in my RS.

Don't bother w/ a TD04, not really an improvement on the VF11. Better off with a TMIC, TBE, MBC, and of course, a coffee mug;)

i dont agree with that, have you ever seen a vf-11 next to a TD04? its laughable, the td04 though small too, is worlds better then the 11

That coffe cup mod is brillant! I wish i knew about that when i was doing my turbo setup. Cuase going going from 3" to 2.5" is a tough conversion (and gave me a huge vaccum leak post maf...)

I'll rephrase that. TBE, IC, and MBC before any thoughts of a different whip.

    heh, darn mod bug

    Stuff so far:
    2000-2001 RS 6 Spoke Wheels
WRX Shifter Linkage on the way
WRX TMIC in hand, needs to be installed
    New Pads/Rotors in route
2 way Compustar Proline Starter/Alarm with door actuator ordered
WRX Springs/Struts need to pick them up

Might get tint depending how cheap a local guy will put it in for me. Probably 20% all around.
I don't plan on a whole lot more other than maybe fixing the rust spots. I'll pick up a turbo back exhaust if I find one cheap enough, and a manual boost controller. All of that should make it a comfortable daily driver.
