Well I came accross a deal that was to good to pass up. Got myself a 92 SVX SL-L. It's in need of a tiny bit of work.....ok, well lots of work. But the plan is to rebuild the whole thing, and drop a 6 speed in it and repaint the whole thing.

The person who owned it before has been doing body work on the car, so as you can see, the car is in desperate need of paint. The missing panels are all inside the car at the moment.

But the car does drive just fine. It had more pizzaz than I expected too. I especially like the little "power" light that comes on the dash when you floor it. I drove it home from Cosmos, MN (a ways west of Hutchensin) which was about 2 hours, and the thing drove home fine. (plus I didn't get pulled over with an unregistered car:roll:)

All in all, I can't complain at all since I got the car for $500.

    Anyways, here are the pictures.

the power light comes on when its switched into that map, european models had a switch where they could keep it on as they wanted, we were working on the same set up on US spec cars, you should join up on subaru-svx.net

Noice noice. I've always liked SVX's. That and flat six's sound like sex.

Yeah, the $500 part isn't such a bad thing either! My co-worker just paid $1000 for a POS Ford Escort wagon that is nowhere near as good of shape as that SVX!

Nice buy you lucky bastard!!
