Well I decided to forgo the 2008 STI and get this instead..... 2009 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750, I got the black and red one. It should be a blast, I love super motards. Can't wait for her to be delivered today so I can go for a spin Sunday/Monday when it warms up a little.
I was looking at getting that one or the orange shiver the other day at Leo's south. That is a sweet bike.
Technically it is a super motard, like the post above says...its like a crotch rocket and a dirt bike had a love child The bike has 2 miles on it and the fender/tail light assembly is sitting in my living room, I am going to make a bracket to tuck the plate up under the light The stock exhaust sounds awesome so I am going to keep it for now. I ordered a cat removal pipe to make it a little louder. I will probably either find someone to paint the exhaust heat shields flat black or get aftermarket pipes down the road. I am also going to wrap the entire exhaust system minus the mufflers in header wrap to gain some power and it looks awesome. More pictures to come. This bike has so much low end torque and redlines at 12,000 RPM its going to be hard to keep the front wheel on the ground.

cool bike! I was watching some show on the speed channel the other day and they were riding around europe on that bike (or one that looked just like it)
