my new wip

Just put a deposit down on this beauty. I'll be picking it up on Tuesday. Its a '98 with 121000 miles. Pretty clean for a 9 year old car. I have 17" wheels for it in my garage which I'm working on refinishing to gold.

It appears to already have the following mods:
whiteline rear swaybar
some kind of upgraded front swaybar, possibly from 2.5RS?
KYB, maybe Koni struts (adjustable, red strut body)
Eibach springs
short shifter
rear strut tower brace

Quite a steal, I'd say.

Future goals:
slotted rotors
'06 WRX calipers
'06 WRX long block
'06 WRX ECU
put PPG's into some blown up 5-spd housing
FP green? 30R?

I'll be demodding my '04 in the next couple of weeks and selling it after that.

It's a very clean car; nice indeed.

 

Oh, yeah. Custom catless exhaust with big chrome tips that stick out too far.

question for da' GC suspension gurus -- this thing had the front adjusters on the top (stick a flathead screwdriver in) and the rears on the sides behind the wheels.

Anyone know offhand what these might be?

Only touch-up. I was thinking about covering all the rock chips on the front of the hood with truck bedliner or some real rubbery paint.

Oh, I might paint the door handles white. That's the only thing that I don't look about the look of the car.
