With all the recent activity I'd like to know how people feel about necroposting, bumping of old threads.
If the thread is good, yes. If you have useful information to contribute to an old thread, please do so. No matter how true it may be, "Dream FTL" is not useful, nor does it contribute anything to the discussion. That is what t3hw00t is for, regardless of how much you don't like the layout or the colors, that's what that site is for. It's for the OT drivel and **** that doesn't belong here. Bump old threads there, nobody gives a damn. There are people here who have to police all of you, and that's hard enough without "necroposting"
I think it's fine, who really cares? If it bothers someone that much, take a deep breath in through your nose and blow out through your mouth, then go outside and do something.
For those of you like me, who have no idea what they are talking about.... necroposting On a message board, posting something irrelevent on a really old topic to bring it to the top of the list topics. name comes from the fact that you are bringing it back from the dead, thus Necro. a practice common among n00blars. Necroposting The act of posting in a forum thread that is too old to matter any more, or has served it's purpose. Usually by new, inexperienced members of the board. A common trait of someone necroposting is not to only bring one old thread back from the last page before deletion, but to fill up the entire first page with threads that only they seem to think have relevance to anything.
Is it hurting someone? Is slowing down the site? Does it help a Friday go little faster with a good chuckle?
It think that's a good recommendation for the people that are so bored they feel the need to bump old threads for lulz who is tim12232 btw? what steph is trying to get at is the fact that there are a few of us here to monitor the fourm and we find it annoying to sift through the bs bumping of old threads...in addition to the normal threads. funny- ya sure it can be... annoying- yeah when it's the theme of the day for some people and that's all they do.
furthermore, work blocks t3hw00t for me now which is ftl, much like those dang necropheliac thread diggers.
Actually, there isn't any going on over there right now. But that explains why you guys are never on there. I'm sorry that your work is blocking the OT site And as far as there being no old threads over there to bump? Well, we did the best we could.

Any kind of posting on a forum that gets its own special name is inherently stupid, and the creators of said name as well as all who partake in its practice should be beat mercilessly. Just my .02 though.
