need 2 valets this Sunday afternoon!

    First, hi group-I've-been-long-absent-from...

    A catering venue I work at needs 2-3 more valets THIS Sunday (April 30th.) The shift is 12pm-6pm (you might get cut early if it's slow) and pay is $10/hr plus an equal share of tips. A valid driver's license is obviously necessary. You'll also be running and parallel parking and driving manual transmissions. And then probably sit for awhile.

    If you can help me out, there may be more of these this summer! (ehh, a little more notice next time for sure.)

    Oh, and you'll be working with me :D

    P.S. The tips vary but think $2-3/car, maybe 50 cars total (300 people maximum). disclaimer: the only thing I can see to is at least $20 for a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon, could be fun? k

    Edit: no experience necessary - it'll take you 30 minutes to get trained. [of course the ability to drive a car is a given.]

    Welcome back Mr. K too bad the parking lots will be packed, otherwise it could be alot more fun. Hope you get a few recruits. Hey here's an opportunity to get some Track Entry Fee $$$.

    haha, actually there is usually some food there for munching.
    also, when I valet I make exactly as much as every other valet... so I'm not trying to make cash off anyone's back. with tips though, it works out to about $20/hr which is pretty good for easy work.

    a little early morning bump for all you hoopleheads :p
