need a clutch alignment tool

    anyone have one I can borrow tomorrow? not sure if they're the same between 5spds and 6spds but this is a 6spd

    I have one you can borrow, do you happen to know anything about timing a wrx? Cause I dont want to expletive anything up when I put everything together.

    thanks dirtywagon and matt, I think sheen found one for us to use (for some reason the one we have doesn't want to go through the clutch - the # of splines is right but the teeth shape seems off - weird)

    I have a 5MT metal tool I cut off one of my blown boxes. Works much better than the plastic ones. Not sure if spline counts/size are the same for a 6MT though. Let me know

    If you believe this guy on Nabisco it looks like they are the same.

    A little OT, but I know that the WRX 5MT and older 2.5RS 5MT had the same splines except the 2.5RS had a ever-so-slighty larger nominal diameter which made for an extra tight fit. So I wouldn't be surprised if maybe Carl had a 2.5RS clutch alignment tool... you have to hammer them on for '02+ models.
