Anyone have a truck with a tow dolly or flatbed and can help me get a car on Saturday? If you fill the tank before you leave, I'll top it back off when you are done. Car is by Lake Nokomis, needs to go to Cottage Grove. It's maybe a 20-25 min drive from my place to the site. And we could just meet there to save some gas.
if you can possibly wait till thursday, I'll still have my moving truck with the trailer. Just a thought
I have access to a car trailer. I don't have any way to pull it though. bielke??? Let me know because I would have to ask my dad if I can use it that day. I am not sure if he has started loading stuff on it for their move or not. edit: I believe the trailer is in plymouth!!
Thats too bad! I thought I overheard you saying something about how you like the 67 body more, well best of luck!
Yeah, it was heartbreaking for sure. But I'll get over it. The one I bought yesterday is in perfect condition. Still going to repaint it, but it looks fantastic all the way around, inside and out. Rust under the battery (which is normal) and a rust spot on the front where a rock chip took out some paint. But otherwise, all the interior panels are dry and free of even surface rust. It's probably the cleanest example I've seen.
I was able to find a tow dolly via U-Haul on pretty short notice last Friday, and it's only like $42 with taxes for 24 hours. Of course I had to drive to Burnsville to get it, but that was just the luck of the draw. U-Haul's regional center's service really sucks though, so make sure to double check anything they tell you.
okay, my dads trailer is usable. It is currently in buffalo. He might be bringing it to plymouth tomorrow. What I need to know is if he gets it to plymouth will you use it? if so he will get it there. Shoot me an im or a pm and we can work something out.
I have a tow dolly you can use in South Minneapolis. You can either use it for nothing or buy it for $400 and drag all kinds of crap home whenever you need it.
Please sir, provide me with more information on this tow dolly which you speak of. Jason, When would you be going to pick up the car? My truck might be available. I'm like a mile from Nokomis, tops. And probably not far from Zombie and his tow dolly.
I like this plan alot. A whole lot. I'll PM the both of you about doing this. Bill, tell your dad I wont need the dolly. But I greatly appreciate the offer.
"Barn Fresh." You ever been in a barn that you would describe as "fresh"? And in all honesty, I don't want one that runs, I want one that has a decent body. The one I bought yesterday is in perfect condition body-wise.
This is the only picture I have of it. Unloading the cossie project. Call me if you want to get it. Tonight works great for me actually. 6123275377
