Well, I need a new IC. My plan is to stay with a top mount. I've seen a few people on here are running the ebay special, and actually I've seen a couple good ones on there that have solid feedback in regards to fitment and quality. Anyone have any input? I need to try to to keep the cost of the new IC down.

also, what are people doing for an effective splitter?

    FYI- I will be running a vf39

    Here's an example IC

this ebayer one has great feedback on ebay and other subaru boards.

The ebay intercooler is huge and the ssac version fits perfectly on my 06 wrx with vf39 (hoses and brackets all line up, no need to bend ac lines).

2 small details... the bpv mounting point is now shifted about 3 inches to the right. I had to cut out a plastic heatshield to fit my forge bpv. Zak's Forge bpv fit with no cutting on his stock tmic iirc. Stock bpv fit fine. The SSAC top mount is HEAVY.

I am also running 06 STI splitter and bellows. I had to cut the rubber bellows to make more room and its still about 1/2" short on top and bottom, 1" short on one side and 2" short on the other.

Its a different year car, but if you want to see it I'll be at BP subaru and Firestone this Friday.
