Yes, I know this has been a topic on this form a few times now. But I need some opinions on "how" I should smoke my taillights or if I even should. 1. Leave them stock. 2. Only smoke the upper off of the taillight so if you can't see the back up light and signal light. 3. Smoke the whole thing and hope the cops don't stop me. What do you guys think? If this helps I drive a 02 midnight black pearl wrx.
I say smoke the whole thing so the tint is as dark as Volkswagen Jetta taillights. You won't be too dark, yet it'll look great.

I saw the pics with the tint. Yes, it does look cool but I don't have to run into the issue of cops stoping me for it. Thats why I'm thinking about maybe only tinting half.
well Kong's 02 WRX doesn't mod the bumper but his stick up a little. It's nothing BAD when looked at. You can simply just cut a little off, that's it.
uhh i know of better stuff for tinting.... go to hobbies town and buy the model paint"window tint" it doesnt run as easy and goes on really smooth.... i just did mine (top half less the turns and reverse lights) 2coats did it for me and they look awsome... nothin but compliments... or if you want i can do them for you for 20 bucks including paint... im in school for autobody i'll make em look good anyway you want call me 9523931220 anytime im close to orono minnetonka area
