finally got my taxes done and I'm getting more back then I thought , so know I have options. First, do I sell my stock rims so I can buy a set of lighter rims? Second, do I buy Invidia TBE or race seats, harnesses and cross bar? I have already set aside about a grand just for track time that might get a bump to if time allows. Already pick up Waldro 255, Grimmespeed EBC, Turbo xs bov and perrin tmic. Been on the fence on what to do looking for some others opinions
You're going to get flooded with requests to clarify your goals, probably with varying levels of sarcasm. You may want to consider heading that off before it starts up.
Good point. Just making a fun to drive track and street DD. no really Hp goals basically the TBE would finish off Engine related upgrades. where as seats will finish off safety equipment for this car for now but will make their way into another car. As far as the rims go it is more about do I run with stockers til I can get a dedicated track set or sell the stocks to buy lighter rims
thats pretty much how my list first started off. already planning trips to BIR and BMW. The stock dunlops are new, sitting in the garage waiting for summer to come. thats where i'm debating new rims stock tire or wait get new rims and tires for track days only. car is brand new just over 2000 miles as of today so brake pads and rotors new ish. plan on changing them when they are worn out. Didn't want to do alot to the suspension til I can drive it beyond stock(something learned this past summer @ BIR) that leaves add power or add safety I'm patiently wait for the right car to come along to make a dedicated track car, just legal enough to drive to events. so buying seats and belts gives me a start at that
