its annoying enough without a wall mount compressor that anyone whose done them enough is probably going to charge for the service.

just letting you know, compressing springs 8 times with autozone compressors is time consuming and annoying. Its not hard once you know a few tricks but still annoying.

You can get away with not compressing the rears but i wouldnt recommend it, if there is any real pressure built up in there you could shoot a strut top through your brain pan. An impact wrench is not necessary but will cut down the strut removal and disassembly time considerably. you will need some sort of spring compressor.

me and evan did mine last night only took us 2 hours and that also included taking a lot of my interior out and car audio cables out. only think we removed my lowering springs and put back the stock springs. Like Zak said an impact wrench will be a great thing, one of my back bolts was a pain to do, the impact helped out a ton. And yea the rears we didnt have to use the spring compressor to get them off or put them back on, but it is reccommended.

so turns out i have all the tools needed for the project...not the compressor though...but i got that anyways...so after installing the kit...when making kind of hardish right or left turn...there's a clunking noise from the driver's front side...not any where else...just the drivers' front...and some more info...i bought them from angusracer...they're from his wagon if that helps...

turns out this wasn't that hard of a project...it did take me 13 hours though...7 to do the back...and another 6 to do the front...i wanted to take my time so i did back first...sleep..and then fronts....but thanks for all the tips...

clunk may be a split rubber gasket/boot at the top or bottom of the spring, or strut top nut not torqued down all the way.

eigachs pro kits also have the "eibach clunk" which usually comes from teh right rear corner. There are theories behind why, i dunno what it really is, MY RS with the eibach pro kit had that problem.

i read and it said torque the top middle bolt to 41lbs..and that's what i did...plus the three surrounding it i torqued to 14lbs...so i know it couldn't be those..any other ideas...it's bugging me...
